Yesterday we had a little bit of magic visit our neighbourhood and Miss Liv experienced her first taste of snow….literally! Seriously, after we explained to her that snow was like ice she would not stop trying to eat it! Now that is SO Liv ; ) Clearly however, you can see that I was hardly discouraging her!
Anyway, I kinda love this photo and was so thrilled that we finally had a visit from true winter this year. Of course, I was also thankful for a hot bath and a warm dinner afterwards : )

This gorgeous three week old baby boy is not only pretty darn adorable but also happens to be the son of a photographer! James (or Hitman Photography) is an experienced wedding and portrait photographer and has been a great help to me in the early stages of my ‘business’ by encouraging me and kindly sending referrals my way. I know, pretty great hey?! (Go and check out his skills here.)
Now, I’m not going to lie, photographing a photographer is pretty nerve racking! I mean, what if you don’t do it right?! But of course these guys were the furthest thing from intimidating and just completely lovely and easygoing. It was a real pleasure to shoot them and was especially great to know that I was finally making James get some time in front of the lens!
So anyways, here they are in all their cuteness!
