This family shoot was great! Not only because this lovely five were cute, fun and wonderful but mostly because they were just themselves, and for me that’s what family shoots should be about. You don’t need to worry if your house is unorganized, or your children are half dressed or if someone is having a tantrum. Trust me, I’ve seen it all before, I know what it’s like, it’s life…..and it’s just the way it should be. This family welcomed me into their home, they cooked together, played, laughed, cried, were noisy and busy, and all that other true to life stuff that happens in real families. I loved it and was so pleased to just snap away and let them ‘be’.
So, anyway here are some of my favourites from their session. As you can clearly see the three girls are just darling and the afternoon light was splendid. I honestly could have followed these guys around and photographed them all afternoon….but I try to avoid photographer turned stalker tendencies! ; )
